Collagen Attraction & Activation

 

For those of you interested in the resurfacing of a peel without as much down time, this treatment gets it done.  So what is  C.A.A.T.  (Collagen Attraction & Activation Therapy)?  It is a therapy treatment that DIRECTLY, not only stimulates but CREATES, new collagen, on the spot and for 90 days following the completion of the therapy.  The results are amazing;  not only are they seen immediately but the collagen continues to recreate for 90 days following the completion of therapy!  You can expect to see and feel a difference in your skin right away.  In 90 days time, your skin will be tighter, have more elasticity, tone and bounce, and it will be lifted around jowls, eyes and cheeks as a result of new collagen being built under the skin which creates a much stronger support system for the skin.  Collagen Attraction & Activation can be provoked in several ways, like RF Radio Frequency, for example.  C.A.A.T.  is another way to address collagen, in addition to other treatments, to keep your tissue engaged at all times.  Once disengaged, it will dissipate, which is why it is SO important to keep these treatments rotating.  It’s like exercise, if you stop or slack off the results will not last forever.  C.A.A.T. is recommended every 3 months, for a total of 4 times a year.

The therapy is done in a 2 step protocol.  Here is what to expect.  The therapy is massaged into the skin after the skin has been cleansed.  I’m not going to lie, it’s not comfortable, but it‘s not horrible either.  It is much more tolerable than the chemical peel, so if you’ve had that, this will be a walk in the park.  It feels like sand being rubbed into your skin, to the point of where it’s irritating but not painful, by any means.  This rubbing takes place for 8 to 15 minutes, after which time the therapy is removed. A cool cream is applied to your skin and off you go. 

Your skin will be red, but in a good healthy way, not a raw irritated red.  You will feel the particles that were massaged into your skin workig beneath the skin surface, this is to be expected.  You will feel this for up to 36 hours.  It feels “prickly”  similar to how it would feel if you took a stiff bristled brush and pressed it against your skin.   You only feel this when you touch your face, if you’re not touching your face you won’t feel anything.  You will definitely feel it working.  Everybody experienced the prickly feeling, this is to be expected and it is desired, it’s how you know it’s working. Feeling hot is fine, but not necessarily expected, some will feel hot and some will not.  

You will see fuller skin right away, the plumping is definitely apparent.  The collagen activates immediately upon completion of this therapy and continues to develop over the next 90 days!   The plumpness is not from swelling or any other secondary affect, it’s from the collagen attraction & activation.   A second therapy will be done in 14 days to complete the protocol.  I’m very excited to see the difference after the completion of the therapy. In my personal experience I can  see a tightening mostly around my mouth, jowls, cheeks and under my eyes.  The results are as good as with laser treatment and without the down time.  Bonus.  I am very excited about this new therapy.

Finally, here’s how it works…..

This therapy uses Marine Microsclere technology which is suspended into a gel that carries numerous compounds deep into the layers of the skin which directly and immediately attract and activate collagen development.  These microsleres are microscopic in size and are shaped like tiny burrs.  They come from the sea and are shaped differently, as they grow.  The  microscleres stimulate the skins’ immune system to accelerate cellular regeneration, immediately and on contact.  First the  microscleres are introduced into the skin.  Next the body perceives these  microscleres as a foreign substance which the body will immediately build a defense against.  In this case the microscleres immediately attract the attention of the collagen, which rushes to the microscleres to grow more collagen.  Dead skin cells are naturally removed by this process. Some people will experience a very slight sloughing off of the skin.  Not at all comparable to a peel, but noticeable, in some, non the less.  This therapy immediately regenerates cells, compared to 28 days of normal skin cell renewal.
